Who can join?
Our courses are designed exclusively for women, aged 18 and over.
How do I book?
To join one of our courses, simply fill in our sign up form. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please complete the form on the Contact us page, and we’ll get back to you promptly.
How do I find the workshop?
Our workshop is located at:

You’ll find us above a print/art/community shop in the Totterdown Centre. There is a walkway at the side of the shop that leads to an external metal staircase—follow this up to reach the workshop. For more detailed directions, visit our Contact us page.
What do I bring to the course?
Please wear comfortable clothing that you don’t mind getting a little dusty, along with sturdy shoes with enclosed toes for safety. All tools and materials needed for the Foundation Course are provided. If you’re attending an all-day session, feel free to bring lunch and snacks, or explore the nearby cafes and fish and chip shop.
What happens if the tutor changes?
While we strive to keep consistent tutors, sometimes changes are unavoidable. Rest assured, all our tutors are highly qualified and committed to providing an excellent learning experience.
What happens if I am unable to attend a class?
If you are unable to attend a class, notify your tutor as soon as possible. In cases of deferment, a 14-day notice is required. Absence without notice will still count towards your course duration.
How much does the courses cost? What do they include?
Our module prices include all materials needed for the Foundation Course. For project courses, materials are not included and should be sourced by the student. For detailed pricing, please refer to the course descriptions on our sign up form.
Can I gift a course for someone?
Yes! Purchase a voucher for one of our woodworking courses and give someone special the chance to learn hands-on skills, create something beautiful, and be part of a vibrant community. Our vouchers are perfect for beginners or seasoned woodworkers alike and can be redeemed for any course. Use our contact us form to arrange this with us directly.
What if I need to cancel a course?
If you need to cancel your booking before the course starts, a £25 cancellation fee will be deducted from your refund.

Safety is our top priority. Please adhere to all workshop safety guidelines, including wearing appropriate clothing and shoes, and following the instructions provided by your tutor.
